Sounds like you have a damn good job with good pay. Be thankful your day will come. Having a good job today is great. I always made good money and always had a good job.

Whiner.
Riding is nice. Riding when the rest of the guys are digging snow, kinda cool in a devious way.

You abstivelyposolutely HAVE to keep working!  crazy2 You CAN NOT quit and take time out to ride!  Cry YOU are keeping 25 or 30 illegal aliens in our country by keeping your job.  Lips Sealed DO NOT be selfish and quit.   Embarrassed If you quit kiss yer social insecurity goodbye cause as a punishment fer quittin they are gonna give it to folks what NEVER worked a day in there life here and paid taxes on it if they did work. AND lest you fergit-that "free" edumacation fer their kids!  2funny Oh-and that welfare caddy they gots to put fuel and tires and the high dollar stereo in!  Evil And as my little hero Forrest Gump would say-have a nice day!  Smiley RIDE SAFE.

i think we have all seen it at one time or another in a grocery store a female mom with 3-5 young kids on her hip/in cart unable to barely speak English with those pieces of lovely govt. money paying for lobster and steak and when the bill goes OVER what they have to spend being in the 100's,   they ask to return some of the bought items since they HAVE NO REAL MONEY EARNED THEMSELVES to pay for the rest of it.

I have several times just about told them ALL to get a job you bum and get off your ass and get a shitty ass job like the rest of us have.   tickedoff

I KNOW I have mentioned this before but here goes!  2funny Been at the Murphy gas pumps fillin the Phatt Ghurl and on occasion my cage.  Cool Often as not this past summer I saw a newer Escalade or newer pick up AND a trailered boat with a huge outboard or a large V-8 inboard and both tanks being filled with an E B T card.  uglystupid2 I'm guessing here that once the cards are issued accountability goes out the window/door/crapper!  tickedoff And I have been behind folks that have passed the limit of their card while purchasing food I wouldn't mind eating.  uglystupid2 Not so much a complaint as an observation of what NOT working for a living can do for SOME folks. When that blip hit back in the early 70s I actually NEEDED some assistance BUT the wife and I could not wait to get off of it and back to work.  cooldude And I did work right up until I retired.  Wink And NOT the least bit sorry I did work. Thanks Mom and Dad for raising me the best way you knew how!  coolsmiley RIDE SAFE.

Ya I'd rather work and earn what I have but the biggest problem is when I have needed help in the past, I got denied.  Couldn't even get unemployment.  Wife and two kids and no help when I had no work.  Not complaining too much, still survived.  As for my job it changes year to year.  Last year I made so little, the accountant doing my taxes actually told us we should have been on welfare.  We just put it in Gods hands and he took care of us.  Gotta keep on keeping on.  Don't want to let the lazy starve.

I hear ya... I work in Broussard (2 minutes South of Lafayette for the out of town-ers) and this beautiful weather is killing me when I have to sit in my office!!!!!

But I ride into work every day.  20 miles one way.

Helps me wake up in the morning and unwind in the evenings, so it ain't so bad.   cooldude

Funny thing happened one day on a ride (wasn't so funny when it happened) . I worked in a small machine shop and most everybody had a ride. This one beautiful day I said to the boss who was also my friend why not close up and go for a ride. This was in Prescott, Az.   He said ok and a bunch of us were off to Jerome,Az.  up in the mountains. We never go there because the Harley rider behind me lost it trying to keep up and hit a guard rail. I seen this all happen while watching him in my mirror. He hit the 12 x 12 posts holding the guard rail and totaled his bike and it landed on him. Being a big strong guy he got it off before we could get to him. He got hurt but not too bad. The moral of the story is go to work and when it's time to ride go for it.
