Was expecting a couple of packages from Amazon to be delivered today. Checked status this morning and it showed delivered yesterday. Sure enough they were on the front porch.

Seven days a week if you want to pay for it.  For a long time!

We had a package delivered Sunday too... Seems it's a Holiday/busy area thing:

It has nothing to do with the Holidays the USPS got a contract with Amazon and in that contract Amazon requires they deliver all packages daily yes even Sunday's. They started it about two months ago. My wife is a postal carrier is how I know this.

And if someone delivered regular Mail someone goofed.

Ours was a package shipped without any special Sunday delivery options by my mother in law, NOT from Amazon, but shipped directly from her.

You know the G, once they change a policy, EVERYTHING has to be changed.

And seriously, if you're going to send carriers out on Sun, shouldn't they carry everything they can on that route?

Also Amazon has a deal with USPS, I am an Amazon prime member, as long as the package qualifies for prime, delivery's are 7 days a week. I have been getting packages on weekends for the last 7 months.

I got a package (not from amazon) a couple weeks ago on sunday. So apparently they just don't do this for amazon.

They may have added all packages to the Sunday delivery but was started because of Amazon.
