About to use one of the lifting frames at the gym.

As usual the weight plates have been put away higgledy piggeldy.

I decide to tidy them up.

There are short rods each side of the frame for the weights to slide on.

I slide on a 10lb weight and as I move my hand away a part of my hand snags the weight and the weight smoothly slips off.

As it guillotines earthwards and with no concious thought on my part I scrunch my right big toe back.

As the weight chops into my tennis shoe I feel it scrape across the end of my big toe.  Shocked

Paul

That would have Toe-tally sucked, if you hadn't used your cat like reflexes to keep you from the killer weight.

That staying healthy will kill ya!

Stay safe

Don't tell that story to OSHA!!!

Next thing you know, we'll be required to wear steel-toes to have a decent work-out!   Cheesy

Yes, but not on your toe.

Dropped a 45 lbs that came close to my right foot.  Thankfully I am a bad shot and missed.   Smiley Smiley

As kids, we played mumbeldy-peg barefooted.   For about a half hour.
