In the last few days I have assembled a Ninja Turtle four wheeler, a Ninja turtle three wheeler, a basketball goal, a Monster High doll house and various other items for the Grandkids Santa Claus.......It's like being in an episode of chopper build off.
Nine thousand nuts and bolts and what seems like ten thousand correctly placed stickers I think I am done.  Smiley

the box should contain
  * Eight little rectangular snippets of paper that say "WARNING"
  * A little plastic packet containing four 5/17 inch pilfer grommets
  * Two club-ended 6/93 inch boxcar prawns.
YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY a matrix wrench and 60,000 feet of tram cable.

I feel your pain. I've been working 12 hour days for 8 days now and then coming home and putting together "stuff" for the kids and grandkids. I thought these days were over but it I guess I was mistaken. But it's done now and I am relaxing with a brew and prime rib in the oven and family on there way over for dinner. Hope you all have a great Christmas with your families. Smiley

In that respect, glad those younger children days are over with.  Worst part about it was getting the toys out from all that plastic and twist ties by the dozens.  Then, having to assemble everything while the young ones were demanding to play with it NOW.

Now that they are 14 and 16, money does the trick and that is what they want, SOOO much easier!

Do have a few videos I took when the kids were much younger when they were SOOO excited to wake us up still sleeping in bed at 5 a.m. vs. sleeping in now until well after 8 a.m. now.

I remember putting together three wheelers and other stuff  for our girls when they were little at midnight.  Thought I was through with that chore, till our oldest had two boys.  Spent a few late nights helping put together stuff.  Thought those days were gone as the boys are in their teens.   Now the Youngest daughter has a two year old.   Thankfully they are in the Tucson and I am in Oregon.  Though is my DW has her way we'll spend Christmas next year in AZ.

remember those days working Christmas Eve after kids in bed then all the stuff would be broken quicker than it took me to put together. Glad those days are over for both kids and grandkids
