Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: December 26, 2014, 03:15:41 AM »

Everyone ride safe I've got ( 6 ) bikes leaving beautiful East Tennessee with me this morning . Hookin' up with Bill and Tom in Cartersville , Georgia @ Exit 293 off I-75 ( Hwy 411 & I-75 ) . Temperature right now on my back porch is 28 this morning with heavy frost.... BRRRRRRRRR ..... Should get warmer as we ride south. Been lookin' forward to this ride since we left Florida last year on the annual ride we do every year after Christmas. If you've waited to the last minute to make the decision to join us its that time.

The motel for us all to get hooked up at on Friday 12/26 is listed below.
Be sure to say you are with " The Joe May Ride " so we can get grouped together at the motel.
Please post back to this thread if you did make reservations and plan on being there.

Joe, I'm in NOLA at Eric's place.  I don't have the bike, but was planning on meeting up with you guys tomorrow in Fl.  When you know where you are staying, give me a call, or I will try to get ahold of you.  I believe you said you were staying around Port St. joe?

I talked to Wimp and Punisher last night... lots of people showed up, so many they
might not be able to find enough hotel rooms in Port St. Joe... they were having
a large time last night, I hope they're still having one and found some place
to ride to that has enough rooms...

Florida/Alabama sound good right about now.  Would be nice to be able to ride year round.

If not enough hotel rooms, you can always park and bring a blanket and sleep on the beaches down there am sure.

That way when you wake up,  you may get to see some nice beach babes on the beach as well.  I still remember 2 years ago when we first time ever saw the ocean in Gulf Shores AL.  First thing we did was get our swim trunks on and hit the beach.  Nice views for sure one was a local beach babe floating her very nice top half just bouncing along in the crashing waves.  Wife got a tad pissy though since spent so much time talking to them.  Grin

It's a little chilly for that right now cookie.  Any babes on the beach right now probably have the girls standing at attention.

I'm working mid shift all this week and sleeping during the day...I'm missing out on all the fun.  Angry

Got rained on from Mexico Beach nearly to Pensacola on Monday.

But dried out before getting to the Naval Air Museum.
