Spent Christmas up near Charlotte North Carolina with Carolyn's family...
She went a day early to help her Mom get stuff ready, yesterday was a great day,
lots of family
...
We have a horse-owning friend a couple of miles down the road, she takes care of us
when we're gone, we take care of her when she's gone... sometimes it doesn't work
out, we both were gone for Christmas. Another friend stepped up, but she's a rookie...
apparently she didn't close the barn door all the way last night, I got a call on
the way home this morning that the horses had gotten into the barn and dragged out
a bunch of hay...
I got home, and everything was OK... still some hay out, mixed with a little poop, but
the horses are OK, that's what matters...
I'm satisfied with how well my barn's floor held up, I didn't plan on horses being in there...
Stuff's cleaned up now...
