my 99 Valk

Never really paid much attention or thought about it until yesterday. I was out riding when this Valkyrie passed me going in the opposite direction when it dawned on me it had whitewall tires, I just got a fast look so did not see if they were the standard size the Valk. comes with. For some reason (never checked) I assumed there were no whitewall tires made that fit our bikes. Is this True or false?
My C90 (black) looked pretty plain Jane until I put the whitewalls on which seem to bring her to life.

There are many tires that fit a Valkyrie. Many are not OEM size, but are safely usable.  Some one more knowledgeable than I will chime in on brands and size and which are whitewall.  Hoser  I like them, BTW.  cooldude

Might want to take a look at the cover on the 2015 VRCC Wall Calendar.  VRCC 2015 Calendar and support for the VRCC

While you're there you might consider buying a 2015 wall calendar and lend your support for the VRCC.

Wide White Walls are available in a bias ply tire. I used Dunlop D404F on the front,
and dunlop D407 on the back.

The front is a 140-80-17 vs. the stock 150-80-17, it is very hard to tell the difference.

The back is a 180-65E-16 vs. the stock 180-70-16, same height but one size wider.
The back is a tire you will have to get from a harley dealer.

Saw JimC's at Inzane in LaCrosse.  The tires he referenced above all the ones on my Valk.

They are available at various online sources.  No need to buy them from HD.  Shop around…
