My Christmas was different.

On the 22nd, Mark and Twila drove me to the ER.  It was a mad house.  After xrays and a breathing treatment I was diagnosed as having bronchitis with possible flu. Although I tested negative for the flu virus ( a wire stuck up my nose and wiggled around until tears started), four hours later I was sent home with an antibiotic and Tamiflu capsules.

The next two days were filled with an assortment of wheezes and rattles that kept me awake.

Christmas Eve at 6pm, I was expected at Mark's house for some snacks.  At the same time, a power transformer decided to explode 3 blocks away and my apartment went dark.   I went to Mark's house and he also was without power but we had snacks in candlelight with pizza rolls grilled on the Weber. It was nice to be with family.

I came back to my apartment and sat in the dark until 10:30 pm when the power came back on.

Guess what song was running through my head?   "Silent Night"   REALLY!

Christmas Day at Cheri's house with all the family made up for it all.

I'm doing much better. i even sat on the Vstrom today!  Smiley
