OK Here's the deal;
I tried a Ultimate King Big Boy studded seat (no backrest ) and it didn't work for me.
I also tried a Corbin studded solo saddle with provision for a back rest and that too didn't work for me.(I need to get an idea what this seat is worth?  uglystupid2)
Tried the stock seat from my 2003, no go as well.
What DOES work for me is a Ultimate Seats studded Big Boy with backrest, so if anybody has one and would like to swap for one of my seats please PM me.
If I don't get a response then I'll be selling these seats and getting the Ultimate Big Boy from Des.
All my seats are in excellent condition.

If the stock seat will fit a 2000 standard... how much do you want for it?  Can't tell from your post if you have an Interstate, Touring or Standard.

Yes Bill, for what bike? I have two Interstates; one with a Big Boy with backrest and the other a King B/B with Utopia backrest. I prefer a King with Utopia combo. If you want to trade my B/B for your King, I would entertain that idea. My seats aren't perfect but in very good condition.

I just want to clarify that my bikes and seats are for standards.

You mentioned the King without the backrest.  Have you tried the king with the backrest?

If it's just the King that's not good for you, what's the problemo?  Too far back?  You can compensate with pullback risers.  I was able to add 4" risers that curve towards the seat.  as the stock risers are abut 1.5", you're not adding much height, but you'll get back that inch or so you lost with the King.

If none of this is relative to your situation, never mind.   Smiley

While I do have a backrest, my King Big Boy seat doesn't have the slot for one. When looking for a backrest, a lot of the ones I saw said they're not for use with solo seats, as that is how I'm set up.
Additionally, the seats position, for some reason, puts me in a different angle and my joints were hurting me trying out the King. The regular Big Boy with the backrest works well for me.
I do have pullback risers as well, love 'em, wouldn't do without them.

As you know, everybody's different and it's a hit or miss until you find what works well for each individual. What I'm looking for, is spot on for moi!  coolsmiley
