Da Pack vs. the Boyz in NFC
Da Hawks vs. ???? in the AFC
Steelers are sort of in the swing of things again so they have an outside chance as well.
One thing I don't like is everyone is saying how great the Cowboys are and they are peeking right now almost unstoppable. I hope they don't get big heads like their owner Jerry Jones anytime soon. I don't think it was too smart of move by Jason Garrett to have the starters play basically the entire game when they had the game in hand for the most part, especially the 4th quarter. A few of the hits on the RB could have been injuries in the 4th quarter.
If both sides are in their stride and clicking on both ends, Packers and Cowboys are hard to beat but with Romo, who knows, and Rodgers is limping along gingerly. They are still my 2 favorite teams to watch in the NFL, old school and all.

I see the Packers vs Cowboys coming the next week, but then they have to play the Seahawks in Seattle. The Seahawks are in the NFC.

The Seahawks do have a nack of ball control most games with their offense keeping the other teams offense off the field and let their strength being the defense get the other teams offense off the field. Russell Wilson (Badger native along with defensive player of the year, possible player of the year JJ Watts for Texans) does just enough to keep their offense moving on down the field.

Yeah I`m not taking them lightly. Anything can happen once you get to this point. Is your cheapshotting defensive lineman going to be allowed to play ? If they get by the Cowboys he better have his head on a swivel against the Packers.

The playoffs, especially the early rounds, are all about peaking at the right time. The Panthers are... and it has been amazing to watch. The Cardinals had better be ready. After that - who knows? PS: Thanks, Meathead!

I'm a die hard Rams fan, and feel terrible that St. Louis took out Carson Palmer the first matchup and then take out Stanton in the second. I'd like to see Arizona go all the way with a 3rd string QB and hard-ass defense. I hate the Hawks and the 49ers, still living in that Kurt Warner fan area which makes me a fan of both the Cards and Rams. Tony Blowmo has proved to be piss poor in the playoffs, although it's been awhile since he has been in a playoff game. I'm rueling the Cowboys out... along with Carolina Either way, whoever makes it to the Super Bowl I see an NFC team winning. Peyton Manning and the Broncos have proved to be mediocre against voilent denfenses, I can't say the same for Tom Brady My road leads to the Patriots vs Seahawks/Cardinals/Packers in the SB

NFL is turning into nascar. Heaven forbid if the golden boy gets hurt. The cowboys are beatable btw. Not a team in the league can play with the Seahawks though, and the NfL hates it. They'll do anything to get Rogers and Brady in the Super Bowl.

Definitely both the cowboys and packers are beatable if their offenses don't show up which has been proven 2-3 games this season.
Pretty sure that 2nd step on Rodgers leg could have been avoided. What about the one last week when the Lions guy deliberatly stomped and twisted around his cleats on that guy? Was that as well a legit after the ball play?
One thing about the NFL that sets me off is the very unintentional flags when the defense just barely touches the QB's helmet no grab or hard hit on the helmet at all, just a whimsical touch and the flags fly. Back in high school, I did not tackle the running back at all grabbing his facemask. I was getting up from the tackle AFTER the play was over, put my hand flat on his helmet near the facemask barely touching it AFTER the play was over, and the ref saw my hand on the facemask when I was getting up is all and threw the flag on me. Boy, was I ticked. It is turning into 2 handed touch woosy football. Plus, way too many defensive penalties on safeties defending WR's with just barely a touch on the WR at all. It's like, hey, let's toss the ball up 50 yards and pray for a 50 yard penalty with a first down as well thrown in for good measure.
