2014 was a violent and tragic year, praying for 2015 to be better.

As the title says, 2014 was a very violent year full of tragedies.    From airliner crashes and disappearing to ebola, ISIS, racial tensions, allegations that my favorite comedian was/is a rapist and all the other tragic things that happened.    Lots of terrible events and issues on the news.  Maybe much of this distress and bad karma was there anyway and only due to mass media does it seem the world is falling apart but, it is what it is.    There was some good that occurred during the past year but, more bad than good.    2014 was not a year I'll remember with warm feelings but, my hope is that 2015 will be a better time.

With this, I wish each and every one of my Valkyrie friends a Happy New Year and sincerely hope we learn from where we've been.

In 2014 I got to meet you and many other good people, so in that respect I hope 2015 is exactly the same!  The other stuff such as ISIS, the invasion of Ukraine, Ebola, etc. can stay in 2014.
