I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

BF, great singer, kinda low and sexy. I have some old smooth jazz records from back in the 50's and 60's I dug out and looked them up on Youtube. Here's one of my favorites, Paul Desmond, doing My Funny Valentine. Also have some old Stan Getz, Brubeck, etc. Some are warped so will just keep the jackets and let my girls frame them. Listening to these old sax players and their soft sounds puts me in a whole different mood, same as listening to Melody.

Wish I knew how to download some of the stuff off Youtube for my own use, I'd cut a CD with it.

John....there's a site that you can use (actually several if you search for them) that can convert any YouTube video to an mp3 file.  You save the mp3 file to your music folder on your computer...and then you can do stuff like burn them to a cd...or play the track on your computer though your computer's speakers (you can buy some seriously great computer speakers these day)...or another way is to just buy an mp3 player an upload them to the player.  You can listen to an mp3 player anywhere.

The site....

My Funny Valentine is a great old song.  One of my favs from that era.

This one from her is similar....

A good downloader.

http://www.youtubedownloadersite.com/

It requires a little setup, creating a folder to copy to (these are mp4's, etc., video plus audio files), and another folder to "Convert" to (can convert to mp3's, audio only).

If you need help getting, setting up, or using, let me know.  Never had virus, malicious software, etc.  problem, but I do keep my antivirus, etc. updated.

Have used this software on other websites to get video and audio files.

Happy New Year's everyone!

Aaahh. A nice night sitting on the porch with 3 fingers of Jameson watching the clouds roll past and listening to her. Doesn't get much better.

Try this on google
search box   type  intitle:"index.of"(type of file such as mp3 or mp4) "name of artist"
you will see a search result when you click on one you will have a list of music. click on one file,
some will download the file and some will open to a music player. If you right click on the screen wile it's playing it will give you the option to "save file as..."  I set up a folder in my download directory for the music I've downloaded this way.
