It ain't over until it's over. But Buckeye D (and O) is working. Urban Meyer is so much better looking than Woody Hayes. (Helova coach)

OK, all you guys who picked Oregon and posted a score/spread...... GO TAKE A LAP. BUCKEYES NATIONAL CHAMPS.Ezekiel Elliott 36 carries 246 yards 6.8 avg 4 TDs The new playoff system worked. Ohio State would not have been in this game under the old system. vs #13 Wisconsin*W 59-0 Each of these three had a Heisman finalist, and the winner Mariota. #1 Alabama* W 42-35 #2 Oregon* W 42-20

You are so right, Jess. And to think they barely made it into the playoff. It's just an amazing story. They beat both #1 and #2 while playing a 3rd string QB who had started one whole game going in. Congrats, Buckeyes, and Big Ten Conference!

Totally dominating performance. I'd have to look but I doubt any other team has turned the ball over 4 times and still ended up defeating the Ducks. And Elliot? The only other RB in the country that can compare with that beast is Nick Chubb at Georgia. Only statement the Ducks made last night was a fashion statement.

It's good to see that Big Ten, smash mouth, football can still dominate.

Not so sure, the Badgers have one as well. I'd take either anyday of the week though. Elliott I think though is more a smash mouth in your face runner though than the WI Badgers Heismann candidate. Taped it and watched it all last night staying up late. To have 4 turnovers and still dominate the ENTIRE game is surely a statement made on the field, especially on defense tackling like gang busters. The offensive line for the Buckeyes smashed the Ducks defense all game long pretty hard wearing them down all over the place all game long. The BETTER team won for sure. Impressive QB for Ohio as well only starting 3 games total is unheard of. I never understood though why he always clapped his hands before snapping the ball, any ideas on that hearing the clap of his hands all game long??? There is a reason why Buckeyes smoked Bucky and gotta admit though, pretty embarrassing for the WI badgers to not even score 1 TD. A true testament to how awesome the Buckeyes defense really is. I don't see that type of wrap up and smash mouth tackling in the NFL.

QBs standing back in the shotgun have been clapping their hands (and lifting their leg) to signal the center (and maybe all the down linemen) for years, pro and college. The center can hear the clap and/or see the leg lift when they cannot hear the signals due to crowd noise (esp in away games). But for consistency of good ball delivery, they do it even if the crowd is quiet. For sure the Buckeye QB's clap could be heard on TV all night, he's a big dude.

Actually, no. Clark's (Supperman's) post (and thread) on the same subject was joined to the thread that was already well discussed on the issue. Clark (Supperman, Tom) maybe in embarrassment, maybe in ire, removed his post from the thread leaving Bighead's post without real context. Conversation is complex enough when everyone is talking. It becomes more so when one removes his, or a piece of his, past participation in the conversation. Wouldn't it be interesting if we could do that with our oral words?
