Armed Robbers Enter Restaurant, Force Owner and His Wife to the Ground — Then the Guy Who Was Still Eating Got Up…

i see only one problem here..
i dont know if the shooter was aware of what was out there when he shot or where the bullet went..

A pair of armed robbery suspects reportedly entered a Houston restaurant as the owner was preparing to close for the night on Saturday. The men went after Koy Sam, the owner of the restaurant, and his wife, forcing them to the ground.

“All of a sudden my wife ran back panicking,” Sam told KHOU-TV of the moment the men entered the restaurant with guns drawn.

As one of the robbery suspects went for the register, a customer still finishing up his meal in the restaurant turned the tables in the huge way. He got up out of his seat, pulled his own firearm and bravely confronted the suspects, KHOU-TV reports.

The armed good Samaritan reportedly opened fire at one of the suspects when he attempted to run, striking glass windows. He was able to hold the other man at gunpoint until police arrived.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he hit the fleeing suspect, who remained at large as of Tuesday. But he left the restaurant empty-handed.

Sam praised the armed customer for his “amazing” act, saying he kept everyone in the restaurant calm and “made sure everything was OK.”

The guy that got away is now talking to his attorney about suing for having his civil rights denied. We can't have legal gun holders shooting criminals. crazy2

Now isn't this the point of critical rounds to travel a short distance vs target rounds which keep going. I noticed in TV when they show a bullet, it looks like a target round rather than a critical round one that stops the person.

Worried about a miss when trying to put a critter down? Find a video on You Tube of a D R T round. A frangible round that do some damage to a critter bot on a miss if it hits a wall or something turns into a sand like stuff. Does the same thing after it penetrates a critter. RIDE SAFE.

I don't care what ammo you use, CCW stories should have good solid center mass hits, not misses all over the restaurant (or other places).  If you cannot hit your target, do not shoot, or close with the bad guys until you can hit them.

These stories of CCW shoots with misses all over the place are not happy stories, even if no innocents are hit.

The police do it often enough, and those are not happy stories either.
