One year ago today, one of Carolyn's kidneys became Michael's.  His doctors all say that his kidney really likes him.  No signs of rejection and it is working great.
We will always be grateful to Carolyn for her amazing gift!   angel

Good to hear both the kidney and the recipient are doing fine. Many of us can think back to a time in our lives that someone we knew would not have survived due to kidney failure. Now, Carolyn's offering is a marvelous tribute to both her and the doctors.  cooldude

Very courageous and kind thing to do, Carolyn.  Michael, I'm glad it's working.

I'm not so sure about that.  Carolyn is indeed a beautiful person.  Pat is a really, really good guy but I'm not sold on the beautiful part.  He did marry well.   Wink  They do bless our world by their presence.

Me, too, but I'm not sure being more pissy is what I would have wished for you.   Cool   Kiss

What an amazing anniversary to share with Michael. Knowing he is doing well is worth my shot nerves during testing, trying to stay healthy until surgery then recovery after surgery. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

Thank you all for your love and support.

Looking forward to many more anniversary's with Michael.

Love and Blessings,
Carolyn

Are you an organ, tissue and eye donor for your state? Did you know one person can save or enhance the lives of up to 75 people. The # of people waiting for organs in the US would overflow the University of Michigan football stadium. It's the biggest in the country. Will seat over 109,000.
