I get a kick out of this show.
They make many references to Graham County, I immediately recognized the "Robbinsville" sign where the 2 moonshiners got rousted by the local sheriff  police

They were even inside the Quicki-Mart down the hill from Philips Motel  cooldude

Jim Tom took his scoot on the Dragon, stopped at the Overlook (where Thumper is), and I got to see those great MC roads I love on tee-vee, in color  cooldude
 Cool
Looking at the leaves changing, it appeared they filmed prolly just before FCR.
When they were at Deals Gap, I kept scanning the crowd for Vulkries, fully expecting to see Gordon, or Joe, or Wimp, or TBird, or any other cool kid tee-Vee stars.
It would be fun to find their film shoot schedule and do a drive-by!

Whatever it is, it's better in the wind.

On a road less traveled.

Years ago I saw Popcorn Sutton playing banjo on the porch of a motel in Maggie Valley.

Didn't know who the old bearded geezer was until a couple of years later when I was reading about moonshine.

I've met Tim Smith

He was at a Martinsville race and stopped by to talk with some of us track firefighters.

He seemed to be very down to earth and he was really nice.

He didn't act like he thought that he was a big shot.

Hey, you guys are forgetting about Ol' Roy and his dancin. Jim Tom playin and Roy dancin,   2funny who could go wrong? Roy could only dance for 30 seconds before he was suckin air. But he is a replacement for Ol Fred when he was dancin with Ginger. I was always told to never trust anyone with two first names.  Roll Eyes
As for Tim, he is the real deal. As for going legal, not so sure how htat is going to pan out in the end? I told the wife that I bet some day he will be back in the woods with Tickle?? The lady he is working with now is pretty easy on the eyes. Makes it easy to go to work.
You could go over the whole cast but the losers (is it a put on?) in this whole game are Josh and Bill. Are these two really this stupid or do they just have buzzard luck? But not as much as Todd Hoffman in Gold Rush. Now there is a real stroke!  crazy2 These reality shows bleed you on. It's like they get to the edge of a cliff ready to jump and --- SEE YA NEXT WEEK.
