Probably have 15K on this one. Love it! Proved itself, many times, in heavy rain and for quick stopping.

I recently replaced my Falken with a Yokohama AVID ENVigor, and I love it!

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVID+ENVigor+%28H-+or+V-Speed+Rated%29&partnum=06HR6ENV&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

When this one wears out, I will definitely be buying another one.

On the super valk I run a Yokohama avid  envigor and love it. Getting great mileage and traction. On the interstate I have an Avon cobra and when the tire wears out on the vtx I will be trying the austone taxi tire.

I gave my toyo proxes t1r to BigD after riding it for a year then used a
Cobra, a 200 series Battleaxe and now on Bridgestone Exedra 200 MC tire

Thinking about that taxi tire for my spare rear wheel,

Like Therapist the Toyo was a GREAT rain tire, could not wrap my head around the low speed handling and ruts in the roads around here

changed the battleaxe just a hair under 12000 miles
The Exedra seems to be able to get at least as much mileage

I can live with checking rear spline at 12000 miles

When I can't get the Raptor anymore it will be this. I like the stiffer sidewalls with the 94 load rating, (& you sure caint beat the price).

I put a 205 65 Michelin on last summer and love it. I had a poor set of Stinkos on at Inzane and thru them away as soon as I got home. Decided to  throw money at my tires. Best passenger tire on the back and a good radial E-3 on the front. put Ride On liquid in both.  Best ride I have had in 4 sets of tires.  Run 35 psi rear and 39 front. I have about 6 K miles on the set.

Primacy MXV4 has soft sides and really sticks.

Robin, which ever tire you decide just remember air pressure is the key. When I first went with a CT I ran way to much air in mine. I talked to Joe and a few others and dropped mine to 35lbs. Made the biggest difference ever on the ride and handle. You will have to adjust and find your sweet spot. You followed me on some roads last year so I know you was watching how it handled on my bike. Good luck on what ever you do. Cya in the spring.

Very true. I run the exact same tire on both bikes & there's a 10 lb. difference, 36 on the Valk, 46 on the Wing. The Wing's a little heavier & I think the single side swingarm makes a difference. Jus' never felt right at the lower pressure. The Valk loved it at 36.

Big Rig, I'd hafta say yes. Since I rode 2 up most of the time on the IS I went ahead, on advice from others here, & did the mod when installing my first CT tire. That was a General UHP & I'm pretty sure the Raptor is a little wider.
I used carriage bolts for the smooth heads, run backwards (from inside the fender to out) & cut them to length. Have never felt this tire rub in any way & you can ask anybody here, Sugar & I carve pretty hard on The Dragon. (She's crazier than I am!)
One word of warning, this tire has excellent grip, but is more "square" than most & requires a firm hand for the slow speed stuff. A trade off I'm more than willing to make but you will hafta decide for yourself. This tire does NOT handle like a MT. Jus' wanted you to be aware.
Holla when you & your friends head down this summer, maybe we can share some wind.
We live 'bout 30 min's from The Dragon (& other great roads in Tn. & Nc.).

Bridgestone Potenza GO19, 205-60-16.
I got 23,700 miles out of this tire.  No straight roads around here.

I replaced it with a Kumho Solus KH16, 205-60-16.
Second time I have used this tire.  Like it best.
I run 38lbs in both tires.

I ran the same tire, got about 25k out of it. It always seemed more square then the other tires I've ran, almost had it on the sidewall at one time  Grin Grin Grin

GYTT per recommendation of my friend Jess from Va. 6k on mine and I love it. 40 psi as he told me, rides great. Got caught in a nasty
storm two weeks after installing. Kicks water out like a snowplow. I have had a set on my truck for 3 yrs. Best tires ever. Awesome looking tread design.

I run the Falken Ziez 512 in 205/65/16 size.  I have 2 spares in my garage.   Evil
They don't make it any longer, but I heard somewhere that there was a company making a tire that looked and performed like it.  Maybe the "sister" company of Falken...  I will have to research.
