I'm reading
"Killing Patton"
by Bill O'Reilly. Good book so far. (about 1/3 though it.) The timing of my finding this link made it stand our for me.

I asked sorta the same question in Navy basic. 1st class petty officer SIR-why are we up at 0230 and the chow hall ain't open til 0400. Cause I said to asshole! Dive-gimme 50. RIDE SAFE
