I'm working on taking a few parts off the Valk. Was wondering where to start pricing the hardware for a Tourer windshield.  I still have the plastic but wouldn't want to include it due to the shipping cost increase and because it's only maybe a 6 out of 10 in my book.  The hardware is 9/10 of 10.  Thoughts?

When pricing ANYTHING it is IMPOSSIBLE to get more than you originally asked. 80% of full retail might be a good starting point. And 80% could be a good place to start haggeling. Look back in the classifieds and see what similar items have sold or asked for. If it's unobtanium ALL bets are off as that would be strictly what the market would produce.  cooldude Good luck. You could sell that hardware for $150 to $250 and still sleep good. There's
plenty of people out there who want it, and now that the kit is unavailable,
the only way to buy it new runs over $1,000...

I agree with Mike. If your hardware is complete and really nice I think you could easily be at the upper end of the range. Someone can then buy a new Clearview shield and have a practically new setup for about what Honda wanted back in the day. I had a used set I sold about a year ago for $200.00 and I have another set now that is not quite as nice that I will be offering for about $185.00.
