Another refuse to die ship from WWII is the aircraft carrier U S S Franklin. I have been on the waters where a lot of WWII battles were fought. There is NOTHING on the surface to let you know how many brave men have died there-NOTHING. There is NOTHING on the water to let you know how many brave men died on the deployments I was a part of-NOTHING. To ALL of our Young Brave Warriors everywhere-THANK YOU!  cooldude

Today is the tommorow you worried about yesterday. If at first you don't succeed screw it-save it for nite check.  1964  1968 U S Navy. Two cruises off Nam.

And still we have to hear on the news everyday, pissing and moaning from a populace about how they have been mistreated, or in some way marginalized because of their plight in life. I only served in the National Guard as a Tank crewman and have never been deployed but when I hear people who have never served in any capacity cry about how unfair their life is it makes me wanna bite nails in two. No greater sacrifice than the person who lays down their life for another.
