Gotta luv it! They need to add "bring" and "take" to that list. Such as....you don't bring your kid to the doctor, you TAKE him/her/it to the doctor. I've never figured out where a transgender fits, so I included "it" just for good measure.

Either are better than I brung him to the doctor. You'uns, we'uns. On the other hand, I enjoyed reading Mark Twain vernacular. (though it was kind of a shock after having been beaten over the head by the sharp old ladies who taught my elementary years) Them boys ain't right.... has local color with a touch of humor.

The phrase is - "I COULDN'T care less" meaning I don't care at all. It's not - "I could care less" meaning that I do care some but that might be reduced later.

I take for granite people's poor grammar. More pacifically, how there always thinking "for all intensive purposes" is supposably correct.

I do that one all the time... Although, I guess I could be saying that I care enough to say how much I don't care and will probably care even less soon.

Around here you will hear "crick" for a small stream, which is nonstandard. Standard usage is a painful, stiff neck.
Creek -- a small stream. A native American tribe. The language of that tribe.
Creak -- a harsh, high pitched sound typically of wooden origin.

Two that I continue to struggle with is affect and effect. Affect is usually used as a verb where effect is usually a noun. The rain affected Tammy's hairdo, but it had no effect on Amy's hair. Grammar Girl notes that effect usually refers to a result.
