DEY DONE STOLE ALL THE SNOW   center of storm tracked 50 miles east and we were spared

we got only half a foot of snow, the light drier kind that is fun to use the snowblower on as the wind puts half of it back in your face
 Wink
Techron rocks, the electric start still couldnt kick the blower over so I put
3 or so ounces of techron in and rocked the blower side to side and waited a minute or so then

it started and the rest was easy,  stuff worked on the mower in april as well

Plan to head to work around noon ...........maybe

depends on multiple factors, like if I sit in front of the fire and start imbibing this bottle of scotch with lunch

New England got slammed, Karen & Macdragon you ok?

It suppose to be 10-12 degrees above normal,  been that way for the last several days.   WE really need the white stuff, can't believe I really said that.   Our snow pack in the mountains is around 39% of normal.  Another dry summer is coming unless we get rid of the high pressure ridge sitting on top of us.  Though have gotten in some fun rides so far this month.   Grin Grin

I hope everyone who got that expected 2' of snow is safe and sound.

Biggest snowstorm we had that I recall was about 20" in one snowfall/one day.  WI can usually handle that amount of snow and that morning in the 1990's I got to work just fine (well sort of)  driving 40 mph in my old rear wheel drive 1978 Buick Skylark.

The past few years WI has not had a horribly significant amount of snow and so far,  this winter besides a few dusting of 1-3" snowfalls, not much snow at all.    I'd like to keep it that way.  cooldude

Going to start shoveling/blowing in the AM. Looks to be lightweight. Absolutely bare pavement next to the car in the driveway, but a 6 foot drift next to the bare spot. Hope the wind dies down so it doesn't all end up in my face. Couldn't get out the front door due to the drifting, but managed to push the door open enough to get a shovel out there. Even the cat didn't want to go out today, he was fine with the few inches we got the other day. Glad they kept the cars off the roads, apparently we have gotten smarter since '78. Thanks for asking, Evan, glad you missed the brunt of it!

OSS,

I prefer your kind of looter! IF you really are tired of those looters send em over here for the rest of the winter. I bet we don't have 4 or 5 inches of snow on the ground right now. RJ has done a fine job  this winter of protecting my area, unlike last year.
Glad you missed the mess and this is probably one time you are glad the weather people are wrong!
