Saw this in a thread on the Florida board. I've never seen one of these before. http://daytona.craigslist.org/mcd/4858669932.htmlHow is it attached to the tank....is it part of the fender bib? What do you use it for....a place for your breakfast tray?

I suspect it's an attachment for a tank bag and that it's only attached to the tank bib. I've never seen one before this.

Danged if I know, but if that bike is in good shape that's a screaming deal.

Don't really care for the paint, and depending on the miles, but yeah, I agree.

That was for the Valks little sister. Rember the 1975-1983 Gold Wing gas door? That was for mounting a tank bag. A lot of riders would mount there CB radios on it. O crap I just dated my self.

How is it mounted to the tank? Looks like it is just mounted to the tank bib. You can see the bib bubbled up around the legs. Hope someone didnt weld it to the tank.

How is it mounted to the tank? The tank was a fake tank like all Wings. Tank is under the seat. Access door for gas cap. The Valk was the first GL that had a gas tank that was a tank as one would relate to a motorcycle gas tank.
