Last night I rode the bike to a meeting I had to go to.  I turned the last corner into the parking lot and THOUGHT I heard the sound of a wheel bearing grind.  I remember thinking maybe it was the brakes cause I touched the back brake at about the same time too..............it bugged me

So, this morning its still too cold to water grind my concrete until closer to lunch time.  Well long story short, bike up on the lift pull, yank, spin, pull, spin....all seems good.  I was looking for that little lateral movement in the wheel that I felt the last time the wheel bearing went south.

Now Im thinking, what better way to really make sure than to polish the wheels again, that way my ear is real close and Im turning the wheels 360° a few times over, surely if there is a rough spot I would have a better chance of feeling it.

The only thing I discovered was SHINEY WHEELS...................sure bets pulling the rear end and fighting with bearings!   cooldude

They look great, Chris. Now, if you're still looking for something to occupy your time, I know of a couple rear wheels that need your attention. Hehe

Went thru the same thing with the bearings in October, pulled them looked and felt ok...November came in and turned out, I had to replace them...worn out on the inner side of the race... tickedoff

From the outside with the wheel off, they looked good...Heard the grind limped home and got them off and replaced...had to cut them out... tickedoff tickedoff

Now for the polished wheels....umm...can I ship mine to you?  cooldude

Now you need to pull the fr wheel and fender and polish the fork lower. Looks good.
