I do. With HP brown sauce. You're not. I also like Spotted Dick. Do a Google search on that. I spent most of today working a side job. I was the Englishman in the room talking to soon to be US expats. Bubble & Squeak and Spotted Dick came up in conversation. Along with fag, fanny, knocked up, rubbers and other verbal differences between the 2 cultures.

My wife is Scottish and the Scots are NOT known for their cuisine (Haggis) The mince and tatties or the bangers and mash were more my taste than the bubble and squeak that I tried. However, from what I understand it is made from leftovers and varies a lot from one time to the next. I found that to be true of the haggis as well... had it a number of times but never the same twice. I only tried the kippers for breakfast once... won't do that again, especially with a full Scottish breakfast as an option. (aahhh... tatty scones with butter)

I've made Toad in the Hole a few times. The family liked it. The English do come up with some interesting names for food.
The only American one that I can think of is Sh** on a Shingle.

A british style pub I attend will sometimes offer rooster a Leeky soup.
It's OK as far as I'm circumcized.

I had a massive helping yesterday on our weekly old guy ride for lunch yesterday! mmmm. It was sausage on toast. rode 140 miles round trip on a great Kansas day. 72 degrees when I got home. Hoser http://romeoriders.com/wp/
