It always worries me somewhat when about every year one of our rural roads floods at least 1-2 times on tin can road having the branch of the sugar river come over it.  I usually drive right on thru if under 6" of flowing water with my truck usually about 40 yards long running thru water.  I chicken out if 1' or over though since I'm never sure if that old road will be washed out underneath since cannot see bottom of course and would hate to loose a 30K truck and guessing my insurance would not cover damages since my idiotic fault and road closed signs ignoring them as well.   uglystupid2

I've seen a few rednecks with old beater up pickups though run right on thru even if 1' and over going 30-40 mph with water 2x's higher sprayed over their truck.  They make it thru, but I'm too chicken I guess?
