So how many are going so far? I've got my reservation and I have a friend coming on his Ultra. As long as there is no snow/freezing rain we'll be there.

I wanted to go on the dam ride to see the dam dams but dam work means no dams for me.

Looks like I'll headed to Orlando in the Grit Chip RV.

Atlanta to Orlando may be no big deal.

DC to Orlando would be wonderful, weather wise (though without the employment part).

Weather map shows "SUNNY" with temps in the 40's.
As my buddy Joe says...."Bring it, let's ride"

Let's hope that stays true. This weekend looks to be hitting 60 degrees and sunny on Saturday. Get it while the getting is good.

I'll work on that and have a answer by the end of the weekend.

Good deal  cooldude

If other folks has made reservations and DID NOT say with " The Smokinjoe Ride " I cannot get that information from the motel  Undecided

We will ride in on Friday evening February 13.... Group ride Saturday February 14 .... Head home Sunday February 15... If you get paid holidays the following Monday is Presidents Day.

We plan to ride to as many Dam's as possible on Saturday. The Beech River has ( 8 ) small dam's on it and the roads to and from look pretty good. My friend Paul ( Wimp ) and I will be checking a detailed topographic back roads map of the area to figure out the best roads.

Cedar Dam
Dogwood Dam
Red Bud Dam
Pin Oak Dam
Beech Dam
Pine Dam
Sycamore Dam
Lost Creek Dam

We will be staying in Fairview , Tennessee at the same motel Mac ( Crazyhorse ) used on one of his Veteran Ride's. Motel information is below you will need a room for Friday 2-13 and Saturday 2-14.... Room rate is $57.82 with tax for a double room tell them you are with " The Smokinjoe Ride " so we can be grouped together.. Please post back to this thread if you plan to ride and you did make reservations to join us....Thanks

Deerfield Inn

I've been working a little each night on my studly, but ugly, trunk brackets. I
rode to work yesterday, they work good. Now I can carry more than a toothbrush.
I just made a reservation... I'll work on the electrical connection for heated
gear today, and probably cut down the windshield an inch... the OEM windshield
on two sets of Memphis Shades handlebar mounts works g-r-r-reat!
