It is a great looking trailer.  I talked to him and it is a little heavy for what I'm looking for since it would be pulled with a 3.5 V6 with max pulling of 3500 lbs.  He was not sure of the total weight but gate and storage box are a little heavy.  Great buy.  If I still had my Dodge Ram I'd love this trailer.

doubt any problems with the V6 say with an SUV.  I own 2 full sized ATV's weighing 700lbs. each and a lighter aluminum trailer about 400lbs. is all and have NO issues pulling the trailer with 2 utility ATV's on them total weight about 2000lbs. tops fully loaded.  Suspension is lacking a tad, but engine/brakes are fine.  Am sure this trailer weighs a tad more, but not too much more I don't think than say 500lbs.

My 27' holiday trailer is 3500 lbs dry.

What I would do for sure is reverse the lid on the utility box.

Not to hijack the thread, but speaking of trailers,  I got approval from the misses to get an enclosed trailer to transport my two large 2-up ATV's this spring.  Anyone ever heard of RC (Royal Cargo) or MTI (same mfg. in Indiana)?  I am looking at this one in charcoal gray 6x14':  http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/rvd/4881246667.html

I found a dealer in Indiana near the mfg. who can get me one at a great price for 2325 brand new 2015 model vs.  1 dealer closer by in WI for 3K and another in northern IL for 3.2K.  For 700 bucks cheaper,  I'll drive to Indiana the extra 2 1/2 hours for 60 bucks more in gas.

Website is:  rctrailers.com

I was thinking of getting a 7x14' similar 18-24" v-nose enclosed trailer, but most are dual axles then plus heavier would/might need trailer brakes then and don't need it at a cost of an extra 1 grand or more in price to get 1' wider trailer is all.  Weight 6' vs. 7' wide goes from 1500 to near 2,000 lbs. pushing the limits of pulling it with my ATV if need be then around the yard plus need the skinnier size to fit alongside my garage with limited space width wise already.

I may have a nice used 2008 Triton ATV88 open aluminum trailer with wood deck in good shape for sale come spring for 1 grand, new now they cost 1400.   It is nice though to keep it for the times a 6.5' x 8.5' open trailer being only 360lbs. is nice to have around the house that can be easily moved by hand anywhere you want.  I've seen them used in a lot worse shape than mine is for 800 bucks so won't be out much if I keep it forever but would rarely use it though.

Any comments or suggestions on enclosed trailers this size, feel free to respond back.
