Be careful, you will likely get the Certificate of Non-achievement for riding the SHORTEST distance to Ground Zero. I got it two years ago, when Inzane was is LaCrosse WI, and I traveled 68 miles.

I just looked on MS Streets and Trips, it's more like 97 miles via the interstate to Spearfish from your town. Would appear to be closer to 1 1/2 hrs., and yes....lots of Phat Ladies will be in attendance. However mine won't be one of them.

What is this "stock" Valkyrie you speak of. I have only seen one Valkyrie at all my InZanes that was completely stock. The guy had just bought it. I won a chrome dipstick and I already had one. I replaced his (left the stock there) without telling him. I just could not stand a Valkyrie without extra chrome

Did put on J Wilson 90 valve stems , but no cupholders or DRAGONS (ahahaahaaa LOL) , Im a pureist. Well my Valk has a chrome dipstick to, Ive only had it 2 years , so Im learnin I guess.

Heres the maps I use for trips ; http://www.motorcycleroads.com/Routes/South-Dakota_117.htmlheres more : http://www.motorcycleroads.com/Routes/Wyoming_126.htmlthis probably is THE SHYTE ; http://www.motorcycleroads.com/75/356/Wyoming/Beartooth-Pass.htmlBut heres is local quality smooth roade riding : http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/1/5710/RGR/Devils-Tower-Loop.aspx Ya know I don't do gimmicks . MT Rushmore is a must see , This is one awesome site , kinda brings you back to when real men ran the country , guys just like us that gave a danm -- MUST VISIT and only 1 hour on perfect rodes from Spearfish. Make sure your ride to the top of spearfish Canyon and the diner at the top , at the T , must stop and order the Indian taco and order all the extra topping they offer. http://www.blackhillsvacations.com/blackhills/maps/The Texas Trail bringing steers north to the E-W railroad landed in Moorcroft WY , 60 miles east of Spearfish , its where real men that built this country brought there cows to ship east to NY , think Chisum and those guys. The museum has pictures and I stop there once a year to see the new additions. Also Donnas Diner in this town has greasy spoon good food and a smorgi Sunday morning for you church people http://www.devilstowercountry.com/index.php/cities/moorcroft

That must be Cheyenne Crossing your talking about. I like there 'home cooking'. Stopped many times there for breakfast. Busiest resturaunt in the Hills at rally time.
