I thought exactly the same thing when I saw that pic. I just wonder what inspires the Japanese to draw their comic book heroes after? Insects? Favors the new Valk quiet a bit if you ask me. |

exactly what I was thinking a mini-new Valk.
What I do not get is the tiny 2 gallon gas tank is all. What a joke! My 249cc scooter gets almost about same mpg and has a 2.2 gallon gas tank. This behometh is a rather wasted LARGE 750cc scooter and to have ONLY a 2 gallon tank is stupid. I can see a 400-600cc scooter, but after that being 750cc, why? Because someone doesn't want to shift gears manually or doesn't know how???
It really does look ugly not many will sell at that price either.

not for everyone, that's for sure more info here that gives a better perspective of Honda's thinking http://www.gizmag.com/honda-vultus-nm4-motorcycle/31522/and it has 2.6 imp gal; 3.1 US gal fuel capacity I like how they say it has minimal storage, my Standard didn't have any and it was fine. Added a cup holder and I was good to go. Things do change with time, now bikes have glove boxes, all sorts on hook-ups for phones, cameras, etc. and a lot of plastic body parts. |

That's what I like about Honda. They push the envelope with engine configuration and overall design more than any other large manufacturer. I'm not saying I like this, I'm an old school guy, but who would have thought that Honda would have sold any of those Cub 50's. Just my $.02...

My bad on gas tank size, the review must not be right then since stated 75 mpg with a range of 150 miles. I tihnk it is a neat idea but have my concerns on how well it will sell in the Asian market: Reason - Most overseas ride 2-5 per cycle and this is only a 1 seater cycle but it does have a much lower seat height of only 25.5" which will fit the shorter Asian riders better than 99% of us over 5'7" tall. This new Honda 750cc parallel v-twin scoot does get very good gas mileage though around 75 avg mpg or more which is even better than most 250cc scoots and on par with 150cc scoots. However, can you even imagine anyone over 6' tall fitting comfortably on such a short seat height of 25.5"? One thing I love about my 249cc scooter that not many under 5'7" could do is ride it since seat height is near 31" but once I sit my 285lb. frame on it, the rear end squats down at least an inch so I can barely touch the ground flat footed with the 3 settings in rear shocks set to the firmest setting. It fits an average rider height like mine being 5'10" tall with 30" inseam. I had my 16 year old 5'6" daughter attempting to ride it last year up the street unlicensed and she didn't feel comfy on it since had to tip it to the side about 2" over to touch the ground although it only weighs 350lbs., to me it feels very light easy to flick around vs. my 800lb. Valk I/S, but not for her I guess? I've driven my scoot around the house in the grass all over felt like a mini bike, something I would not do with my Valk. |
