I cut down my first windshield today... worked out pretty well. I put painters tape on it to
protect it from my jigsaw's base as it went across. I made a template out of some red rosin
paper, and drew a line on the tape. Then I cut the line out of the tape with a razor, and ran
the jigsaw metal blade down the cut out line...

I also put Ride-On in the Black bike's tires.

Then I checked the starter relay on the Log Truck for the first time ever... I was getting
paranoid... but it looked fine. I polished up the blades on the connector with some
1000 grit sandpaper, that's how Smokin Joe got Robert going again when his became
too oxidized (but not melted yet) to start one day.

The Log Truck has 90K or so on it, I just hope these relays aren't quantum (no
problem until you look at them and then they melt) ...

Here's a $10 Amazon replacement relay and a four-blade pigtail that fits that I
keep in my saddlebag... with some connectors and a crimping tool, I believe I could
make a real quick road-side repair if I or anyone I'm with ever melts in the middle of
nowhere...

I found this most awesome cat down in the woods a few weeks ago, hungry and scared, the
day before the temp dropped to 12 degrees... she's my  main pal now...

I like cats okay...until they pee in my garage.  Then, I don't like cats.

I also like your "$10 Amazon replacement relay and a four-blade pigtail" idea.  Most excellent idea.   cooldude

You have any links to purchase such a road-side emergency repair idea?

This might be the pigtail (ignore the relay)... it looks like what I got, but they
don't have any more of those... $5.96...

Hey Mike be careful on those replacement relays.  See the letter "B" and the letter "M"?  On some of the replacements you have to switch the two wires to make them work and the connectors on the OEM wires don't like to be put on the other side as they are shaped to fit.  You can do it but you have to "adjust" them some.  If you replace it and it has no power you know it is backwards.  Been a few days, but I think the "B" is the battery side.

Thanks!... I compared them when I had them both side-by-side, but I didn't look for that detail...
they looked alike...

You should name that cat "Lucky"
(because it was lucky you came along)

Nice save on the puddy.  All but two of ours were rescues from the street or shelter.

there's no cat as loyal as a cat that picks you. ours is two years old now and still doesn't like anyone but the two of us.
