Absolutely ridiculous, but some were hilarious. Especially the blue/white car at the end, it went end over end numerous times and then landed on all four wheels. The whole crowd applauded the landing it seems.

When I motocrossed in Japan the spectators were VERY close to the race course. I was watching an open class moto when the bike got sideways-literally-cause the onlookers had knobby tire marks on their bodies. Stacked the rider and the injured spectators in the ambulance like fire wood.  Told the guys I raced with if any of us get hurt at the track we would hire a Taxi.  RIDE SAFE.

There used to be some horrific accidents in the 80s before the FIA banned Group B rallying. The cars were over 500hp, believe it or not the sport is much safer now!!!

I realize the drivers are taking a chance but why do some of these people stand where they do?  Hooter-it are called cheap thrills!  They can't afford a race car so this is as close as some will get! :crazy2:Same reason they run with the bulls in Spain.  RIDE SAFE.
