I copied this post by a fellow VRCC member that was posted on the mivrcc board earlier today.
Was wondering if there were any entrepreneurs among us who may be interested in this opportunity.

Michigan Chrome Shop FOR SALE or Closing End of 2015
« on: Today at 05:34:09 PM »

Sorry to see this.....ALWAYS had great service at this location and they took good care of me and my Valk for years.  Hope
somebody buys them out and continues the saga..........

Hello friends, customers, clients, vendors and acquaintances,

Michigan Chrome Shop began in April 2003, which means we are about to start our 13th year.
Jim & Bob had been Lorne’s Chrome customers for years and were working on bikes in their own garages when we heard he was going to retire.
In 2003, we were young, energized and gutsy enough to think that entrepreneurship sounded fun.
Now Jim is 67, Bob will soon be 62 and I’m "not far behind" them.
We need to transition into retirement.
We are looking for someone who would like to discuss taking the baton and running with it.

We realize it’s tricky to list a business for sale and still try to maintain status quo.
Customers want a relationship with the people working on their bikes.
And, obviously, inventory purchasing takes on a different dimension.
That’s why we want to let the word out early.
This is our last year… sale or not.
If there is someone interested in continuing a bike shop in our location, it’ll be good for them to get involved in the spring rush.
If there isn’t, we will certainly continue to service and accessorize bikes throughout the spring, summer and early fall.

We truly appreciate the opportunities we’ve had to meet each of you and respect the trust placed in us over the years.

We have a realtor ready to list the business for sale but it seems more likely that if the shop is going to continue, it will be because someone who already knows us is interested.
Are you the one? Or, do you know someone?
Think outside the box and feel free to spread the word.
Sincerely, Beth, Jim & Bob
