Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

« on: February 17, 2015, 03:48:53 PM »

Traveller came with a neat set up inside the turn signals in the rear.  There was a red LED ring inside each turn signal that worked as a running light and when brakes were applied lit up really bright as a brake light indicator.

Well, the 2 wires corroded off the back plate on the LED ring (only half was working before)....anyway, I have been looking on ebay, etc and cant find one.  Again, the LED's light up RED.  Anyone know where they sell these?

The wiring set up is still good - I will be able to just connect to any two wire set up I guess....

TIA.  Strider..........

I installed the Electrical Connection brand on my Tourer in 2007, they are still there.  However, your LED board looks different.  Ours were to be adhered to the turn lens with clear silicone.  If you need help, I still have the installation instructions and wiring diagram.  A diode-Y with a resistor in one leg is used to connect running and brake light wiring.  There are two of these, one for each side.

I have the same LED arrays as in Dave Ritsema's instructions, and they fit around the lamp, not on the signal lens.

It seems that the Electrical Connection's website is not working at this time.

We've had some power outages with the ice storm. If you can't reach Lewis at EC in the next day or so holla. I live real close. I'll ask him to give ya a shout.
