  Tonight is a full moon and called super moon and black moon. This is the time that the moon is closest to the earth. The moon is visable during the day as a halo. At night , it is visable as a dark circle. It is not an eclipse.

Tonight is New Moon... Next full moon is Feb 3.

But it is a super moon. http://earthsky.org/space/what-is-a-supermoon

Lunar eclipse will be at the April 4 full moon.  cooldude
