I never was much for TV or books myself, but I did enjoy the Star Trek series.  I grew up watching them and really enjoyed a lot of the episodes and movies.

I always enjoyed Nimoy as an actor.  He had that unique presence and style like Vincent Price that made him so memorable.

I M H O-Mr. Spock WAS Star Trek. He WILL be missed by me and countless others. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. R I P Leonard Nimoy.

An iconic character.

Perhaps understandable, but he kind of pooped in his hat when at one point in his career he rebelled against being typecast as Spock.  Glad he was able to get beyond that, and I certainly enjoyed the reprisals of that role in the various Trek series...

I just watched a black-and-white episode of Gunsmoke where he was
an Indian, kind of like Mingo, yesterday...

Just kidding. I guess he did live long and prospered. It's strange to think of a world where he's not somewhere doing something.
He goes back quite a ways, but he started out playing an alien. He was in a serial called, "Zombies of the Stratosphere."
Check out the space man on the left.

Dr Spock (baby Doctor) died quite a few years ago. You must mean Mr.Spock (Leonard Nimoy).

Leonard Nimoy appeared in one episode of Sea Hunt.  (Gotta be old to remember that.) He was a bad guy shooting a rifle from a boat while wearing swimming trunks.  Without the Spock makeup he was a good-looking man who looked like a villain.

Pluggy.

I must be old.  I wanted to be a scuba diver when I grew up.  Guess I never grew up.

I'm sure that was one of his proudest moments.   Wink
