The doomers are a tad quiet at the moment knowing that they may be ridiculed. Wait for spring and a few hot days.

There was an article on the MSN homepage a few days ago that said this winter's cold weather is caused by the Artic becoming warmer. I don't make this stuff up.

The Northwest Passage has been open to summer shipping since 2007.
This winter arctic sea ice tied its all time low record extent February 12, 2015.
The Arctic is not cooling. It has been running 20-30 degrees F above normal this winter.
The temperatures the Aussies are concerned about are obviously celsius readings.
50 degrees C = 122 degrees F.

The OFFICIAL Australian Bureau of Meteorology has been keeping records since 1962. Pray tell how anyone knows what high temps were in the 1500's. 1600's. 1700's. 1800's. http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/extreme/records.shtml

So after 54 years the high temp record remains the same http://wmo.asu.edu/australia-highest-temperature

I'm looking forward to seeing your bike for sale so you don't con tinue riding it and contributing to global/change/warming/climate. HAVING TO DRIVE THIS WINTER? USING FOSSIL FUEL AND CONTRIBUTING TO global/change/warming/climate Hope you're not running any heating in your house. Unless you are using fallen trees and NOTHING else. How's the light switch in your house work? Electricity? So many hypocrites.

Looks like you have been drinking the cool aid. Northwest passage has not been open in many year. The artic is not 20 plus degrees above normal and the summer ice has been around normal for the last two years. And the Asssies Metrological group has been over estimating temps for the last several years. Take some time and really read up on it before quoting stuff you don't know about.

Fellas, the debate on whether temps at the poles are getting warmer is over. The facts are, they are. Same with temps at the equator. The debate is whether or not it is caused by humans. Which I happen to think it isn't. Do a little research on the jet streams and what they have been doing, and why.

And sea currents. And sunspots. And the suns proximity to Earth And the angle which the Earth is facing the sun. And other stuff I can't remember right now.

But, its been talked about here so much I'm not repeating it. Right or wrong, folks are going to believe what they want to believe. And last year, Alaska had near record breaking snowfall and it came earlier as well. And maybe in 6 or 7 years, or 60 or 70 years some weird will happen again. Or maybe not. But maybe yes, but maybe not.
