That's what's going on in Washington.  Lots of running around, lots of important? people screaming their heads off, nuttin' is happening!

To paraphrase..... 'The Wheels of Justice grind slowly but exceeding well"  Maybe on the first part. The second part seems to have gotten lost!

Fast and Furious.  Lots of hearings, no action.
Benghasi...........   Same as above.
IRS..................    Same as above
Contempt of Congress by Holder..... Same as above.
Lerner taking the 5th,  and getting by with it. Wheel spinning only.  Same as above.
Unconstitutional Executive Orders ........  No problem, No action by Republican Wimps.
Private Emails involved in State Dept business by Bilary..  Lots of jabbering now, but, inevitably no action.
Disregard for paying Federal taxes by good ole Sharpton........No action
Writing your Congressman (woman), no action.

Disregard for paying taxes by us folks...........IMMEDIATE ACTION

I've voted in every election that i can remember, lately to no avail.  WHY? Angry

Money and Power. Democrat or Republican, most of our elected officials are consumed by keeping their position and all the perks that go with it. Serious challenges to wrongdoing are tempered by the thought that if we push one issue too hard someone may start looking at my activities too close.

If you you look at those who are really willing to force change (Tea Party) you will get labeled as extremist kooks. They are the patriots of our time and they are under constant attack. Doesn't matter if I agree with everything they say of represent, they are the only ones who are standing in the way of the status-quot. Many of the true middle of the guys are giving up and going home.

Fix is in-hildabeast next potus!  Cry OR they create a "situation" the obuminater declares martial law and suspends elections and THAT'S just the start of the beginning.  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

We need two things that will change what is happening to our country, and we will never see either.

1) TERM LIMITS
We will not see them because the politicians are so intertwined with the lobbyists that they are one entity. (and that goes for both parties) Term limits would enable our elected positions to be what they were intended to be, real people serving the voters, not their party, or special interest groups, and they would not be in office long enough to be bought. (at least in a perfect world)

2) FAIR or FLAT TAX
When everyone, including corporations are paying equally, we should begin to level the playing field, but it will never happen in our lifetimes, if ever, because we have voted in our ruling class, and enabled the filthy rich to dictate and determine what the laws will be, and who will be effected.

You forgot one.

3)  OUTLAW LOBBYING.

Take the legalized bribery out of politics.  Our elected officials need to work for us instead of whoever writes them the biggest checks.  They represent the people that give them money...not us.

It is covered under #1. If we have term limits, the lobbyists could not pay off the pols because they won't be there long enough to do them any good. (again that is in a perfect world)

The problem with the Chinese fire drill analogy, it that they don't do any running around.  Rather, they spend their days in pampered monarchical privilege with $250 lunches, and let their well-paid staff run around for them, all at our expense.

But I sure understand where you're coming from.  I sure as hell would like some positive movement and possible closure on any of the dozen very serious scandals of this administration that are NOT figments of our imagination.  Right off hand I'd say having the Attorney General (and the entire Justice Dept) in your hip pocket goes a long way toward explaining this.  Oaths of office, honesty, morality and personal honor are apparently meaningless to these people.

If our people cannot do anything else, at least they do not have to confirm anybody else the Zero sends down for confirmation until the bastard leaves.

Yeah, Jess, I was a little off in that analogy.  The only time that they run around is when they are trying to persuade voters to vote for them (and that's only if a TV camera is spotlighting them!)

The rest of the time is on a smart phone trying to get more favors from lobbyists.
