I cranked up the black beast after hanging out in downtown Stuart at the free concert on the Intercoastal Waterway.

Headed over past Indian River Plantation and the super wealthy community of Sailfish Point, multi million dollar homes on the Atlantic.

Cruised over the Jensen Beach causeway to the Intracoastal for a break and came upon this family of natives just hanging out

Changed positions for a shot of the water

Took one last shot before heading out.

Seeing how yesterday was a bust down here, (although the N Fla. boys had a good ride) figured it was my turn today.

About 79 degrees with a cool North wind, just perfect!

Mid 60's and clear blue sky in the N GA mountains with all those ups, downs, sharp bends to the right, sharp bends to the left   Evil

I see that spring has arrived in your area. About time I might add, my friends in Asheville , Hendersonville, and Young Harris are tired of the snow and cold.

Well "the mountains are calling me and I must go." has already started for me. It's just a matter of time before I head that way.
You're right, can't beat the joy of riding those mountain roads and beautiful scenery. It's nice to be able to ride in Florida while it's brutal in the North, but 11 curves in 318 miles of Florida roads sure ain't no Blue Ridge Parkway.

Enjoy the riding and I hope to meet up with you again

I'm sure you'll be able to compensate once you get back into the mountains.

During the ride I saw a couple of hundred trees that had been cleared from the roads following the recent ice storm in N GA  Shocked
