This is just sick.  What the hell is wrong with people?

A simple search of YouTube shows that this is not all that uncommon.

"But, they are all such good girls." I'm sure their mom is saying that.

Thug mentality.  Could happen anywhere with kids who have been taught not to take any "disrespect" from anyone.

There's a McD's on North Ave in New Rochelle, NY.  It's right across the street from Iona College, but is is also down the road from New Rochelle, HS.  There is a cop inside that McD's every morning and every afternoon.  I've watched him clear the store out when it's gotten too crowded, letting a few kids in at a time.  Same cop, every day, twice a day.

I'm guessin here they would have felt better had they killed her?? Even at 240 the video-I M H O-is clear enough to bring charges.  cooldude When I went to school eons ago fights were settled one on one. And if some one else had a beef you could rest a few days before the next fight. I'm also thinkin THAT won't happen here where I live-nobody is sure who is armed and who isn't armed. Course livin in the country a bit different then livin in the ghetto. RIDE SAFE.

And I'm sure McDonalds has raised its prices at that particular store to pay for that officer.  Undecided

Not sure what this has to do with McDonalds. We never have any problems at our McDonalds in Romeo, MI.

I don't recall the prices being higher.  Use the stop in there once or twice a week.  My kids went to another school not far from there so on days I'd drive them, I get a cup of coffee in the morning and maybe a treat for the kids if I picked them after school.

A couple of times while there in the afternoon, it did get quite crowded and when a lot o high school kids get together it gets VERY LOUD.  That's when he makes his presence known and gets things in order.

We had an NYC police officer whose job was my high school.  Officer Conte was there 5 days a week, all day long.

You're right.  McD's is just where it occurred.  Anywhere lots of kids get together immediately after school is a place where something could happen.  The kids are full of energy that has to get out and any little thing could be the spark that sets off the explosion.

And nothing wrong with that.  At least we know the kids are protected.  They cry about protecting the kids, yet in some areas it's just talk to drive the anti-gun movement.  I mentioned cops in schools in other places and some lib friends cry that it's like kids going to schools in prisons because of one armed cop in the school.   uglystupid2

It's got nothing to do with McDonalds, it's the riffraff mentality. Personally I don't give a damn about them but I'm worried about the direction this country is going. Myself being in my 70s I don't think it will affect me but it will affect my grandchildren.

Agreed, and the ones standing around doing nothing to stop it are cowards also.

I'd let them all fight it out and have a good view over it sitting back and just watching.  Let all the scumbags fight it out, a few less hoodlums around in the world is a good thing.   cooldude

That one girl with just a bra on at the end just kicking and stomping on the head of the other person on the ground should go to jail for sure, what a coward to keep kicking someone violently when that person is not hardly even able to move.

I'd only interven if they came after me, especially since all were probably minors and us being adults wouldn't look good in a court of law beating up minors.  Sure wish if I had to get involved, that I had an aluminum bat  though to bust up some heads, for a wooden bat wouldn't last too long all busted up after the first 2-3 hoodlums.

Wonder what it was all about?

Right out of Lord of the Flies.

You want to fight, join the Army.

Maybe this crowd would be happier with ISIS, same mindset.

Just roll a hand grenade in there and keep moving.

Instead of a hand grenade (not a bad idea by the way),  someone in the building with a concealed  large caliber handgun being loud,  should have shot 5 rounds quickly into the roof and see all those punks scatter very quickly.  Wanna bet that would have ended the skirmish.

Turns out she's known to police and has been "detained" several times in the last 6 months.

And yet they keep releasing her to the general public time and time again.  Lock up and throw away the key for about 10 years, she may wise up by then?  Same as repeat drunk drivers having 3 or more offenses.  Take their drivers license away for 10 years or more just like their jail time should be 10 years or more as well.  Tough love I say!  tickedoff

I'm just glad that I went to school before society degraded to the point that we now have to have a police presence in our schools.

Maybe it's just me, but what the hell ever happened to being civil in a civil society?

Yer right Bruce when I was a kid if you had a problem with someone a crowd would form but only the two with the problem would get involved and after it was over it was over and you resumed normal activities even if one or both showed some marks from the fights coolsmiley

Saying they are going to charge her as an adult but whether or not she gets incarcerated remains to be seen. And the victim and her mother both refused to talk to police or media. You just KNOW WHY they won't talk to police! RIDE SAFE.

Not sure when it started, but I went to H.S. from 1979 to 1982 and in NYC, there was always something going on to cause students to get pissed off and act out.  I remember Sophmore year there were city wide (NEW YORK CITY WIDE) school walkouts because the board of ed needed to save money and they directed the cuts at the sports programs.  Thousands of kids sat in the street, blocking traffic all over the city, and thousands more got on mass transit and converged on the Board of Ed's headquarters and everyone chanting No Sports No School.  And nobody got hurt or arrested.  That was the amazing part, that the city/Police were able to manage it all with not one kid getting hurt or going to jail.

The cops were there to protect us, not mess with us.  Conte would even hold open basement doors for us when we cut out for lunch.  He knew we were safer inside than outside.

And where are most (if not all) of the school shootings?  In rural areas, where police will take time to arrive and usually too late.

Our K-12 school guidance counselor took one unruly at the time middle school boy at recess and grabbed him by his head/neck/ears and whatever else he could grab and dragged him literally back in from the playground for cussing and doing stupid stuff he should not have been doing.

Ah, days gone by, I think we need more like him in some school systems today.  Although, not too many fights anymore I don't think in our school system at least unlike when we were going to school.  They really crack down on fighting now and if do fight,  you get expelled unlike back in the day just a detention and slap on the wrist.  Bullying, at least in our school, is not tolerated in terms of fighting bullying, but the bullying nowadays is just as bad being all facebook/internet based/social media.
