Hello everyone,

last night we had a nice evening so about 8:30 I warmed up the bike for a quickie and went out for about 20min.

it seemed to me like I wasn't getting enough light and when I switched to high beam it seemed like they were real "high".  The bulb is OEM and is new"ish"

I'm wondering what is recommended projection and what is the best way to gauge the projection aside from driving and trying to adjust as needed.

thanks,

mike

For some reason my first reply didn't post. Anyway, here's one way of adjusting the headlight and gives a good starting point. With the bike upright, measure from the floor to the center of the headlight, must have you weight on the saddle. Next, make a mark on a white wall at that same height, I use our garage door. Back the bike up 17' and with your weight on it, adjust the low beam to sit just on top of the mark. Like I said, it's a good starting point, I just left it there on my ride.
