What makes anyone think that they want to go to school with any of us white chumps?

They hate the white race with a passion.

You were their masters and in some ways still are.

Blacks would stay to themselves given the choice.

They were not given that choice.

We integrated them.

Many chose to go to Liberia a country set up for them after the civil war.

Now they like Holder and Obama,,piss and moan cause they commit more crimes per capita and

get shot for doing it.

 What is wrong with people.

Those schools should have never been closed.

Everyone should have simply been afforded a choice as to where they wanted to go instead of being forced and bussed away from their homes.

The closed schools should have had access to equal funding and equal opportunity to excel or fail all on their own.

The end result was resentment on all sides.

Yep, government is always the answer isn't it?

When people all start to think of themselves as Americans, rather than Italian, Polish, black, Chinese, etc, than this country will start to mend, until then, it will continue to be in upheaval. It's a shame to see such problems. We need strong, intelligent, leaders, Not the crap that's out there trying to lead their own agendas. However, Leaders alone are not to blame, because people need to see through these charlatans and not be taken in! They have us all where they want us, don't forget that!

I think I saw more violence in my JHS than anyone outside of WATTS in the Bronx
yet I had lots of black and other friends, Kids really dont care about color unless
someone comes out and TELLS them to care about it

It is what you make it if you let yourself see past yourself all the potential is there

Lincoln is quoted as saying to a newly freed black man who bowed to him

Dont bow to me dont bow to anyone but God     Great advice.

Of course a hundred plus years later our own integrated
half white half black POTUS went right out
and bowed to someone and we know who
even kissing his ring  Someone will post the pic I am sure ASAP

I suppose I just got lucky. Grew up during the final years of segregation and can remember seeing separate waiting rooms at the doctor's office prior to the CRA in 1964. Graduated in 1974 from high school in South Alabama. Except for the occasional flare up from the usual suspects, we never had the tensions, much less the violence. Sure I am convinced there was underlying resentment from the older folks on both sides. And the school in the black neighborhood was closed, eventually being reopened as a Middle School. Maybe where I went to school was an anomaly in that regard. I remember my high school days as a wonderful time with friends....regardless of the color of their skin.

I grew up in a very small town and went to school in the same building k-12 . There were only 8 black kids in our whole school which consisted of about 500. Never any problem with anyone picking on them or vice versa. Hell we and they didn't know we were any different. Racism is taught not born in you period.

During my first years of school, elementary though Jr. High , I lived in a rural northern Indiana setting. I was brought up in the church,my dad a pastor, singing 1 particular Sunday school song that celebrated we are all, regardless of color, precious in His sight. That was how I was brought up. Now being in a rural northern Indiana school, point of fact, there was really nobody but whites as I remember in my school. We did often entertain missionaries who would travel from church to church and often stayed as our guests. I remember having some Haitian and African missionaries who were native from those places. But in my daily life, as a kid, pretty much all white. That being said, I was brought up to see everyone equally regardless of color.
During my High School years, we moved to Indianapolis, IN and for the first time I was surrounded by blacks and other minorities who were mostly bused. I had issues with more than one bully who ,as it was , were black. I witnessed behavior that made it harder to keep the "everyone is created equal " mindset because I didn't have these same issues from white kids. Just my experience.  I believe that I experienced what I believe is mistakenly called "reverse discrimination" . Mistakenly because discrimination or racism is just that.
I went into the Army and I have men that I will call brothers who are black. I have other friends with deep ties that I call friends who are non white.
I do think that to the subject of this thread, yes I think race has been a bigger issue of late. It's a shell game to keep our eyes off what is really happening in our country right now. A fundamental transformation our POTUS said he wanted. Irresponsible intrusion of our federal government into potentially racially charged recent events only to ensure that these events caused tensions to rise  and dissension in our country between races. The constant barrage of inflammatory  comments and accusations that if you disagree with the current POTUS on anything, you're a racist. When we went down the road of separating and dividing our country into groups of African American, Irish American, Jewish American and so on instead of just "American" we were in trouble. Focusing on what our differences are instead what we can unite in and find common ground. It's a ploy .A ploy to divide and conquer. With a Federal government encroaching evermore into our lives , they just need to grab our guns. Anyone seen them trying to do that?

I believe Big Al is 100% correct.  "They hate the white race with a passion."

That was then.

This is now.   Sad

Not only no American flags anywhere to be seen, they cropped out George Bush out of that picture.

There is most definitely an anti-Christian, anti-white bias in this country today.

High School Principal Hosts ‘Black Lives Matter’ Event; No Whites Allowed

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The principal of a Chicago high school, under the auspices of supporting racial diversity, held a black students-only event and barred white students who wanted to attend.
The “Black Lives Matter” event was held at Oak Park and River Forest High School on February 27 to cap off Black History Month. Principal Nathaniel Rouse, who is black, told the Chicago Tribune he held the event as a response to the questions he had been receiving from black students about the events that happened in Ferguson last August. According to the school, approximately 350 students attended the forum.

As reported by Western Journalism last week, there was no evidence of racism in the tragic shooting death of Michael Brown. The Department of Justice released a report finding the “Hands up; Don’t shoot” narrative propagated by social media after the shooting was false.

Parents of white students contacted the school to voice concern that their children were excluded from the event that they wished to attend. Principal Rouse responded to those concerns by stating that he made the event blacks-only because he believed gathering students by “affinity group” created the best atmosphere for the free exchange of ideas on racial beliefs.
In a statement released by the school regarding the event, the school acknowledged:
…some students and parents expressed confusion and concern about the event being for Black students only. Information about the event lacked clarity about this aspect of the conversation, and the high school is committed to improving communications in the future.

According to the school’s website, as of last year, Oak Park and River Forest High School consisted of 55 percent white, 27 percent black, 9 percent Hispanic, 6 percent multiracial, and 3 percent Asian. Rouse says he hopes to hold similar affinity group meetings for the school’s white, Hispanic and Asian students.

I was in Memphis Tn. in 1964. Black people had their own entrances away from whites. As I came from up above Chicago this was "different". On the base I could sit and eat with my other than white friends. Off base no way no how. That was then this is now. I've stated this before and i'll repeat myself-the hyphenated "American" is the problem-you've put YOUR loyalty to a race or a country BEFORE you acknowledge America. I'd much rather see American of -------- descent.  cooldude And YES the current administration in deception central I M H O is doing everything they can to stir up race relations.  uglystupid2 What I'd REALLY like to see is the obuminater or holder or Reverend jessee do a speech WITHOUT their handlers and speech writers. But I digress!  2funny Remember the days when the L E Os did their job and it was on the Police blotter on page 20 of the newspaper?? I've been stopped all over this country by L E Os and if you LISTEN to them they will let you know what's expected and WHY you were stopped. Course up to this point in time I haven't robbed strong armed or killed some body.  uglystupid2 RIDE SAFE.

Wow.   As for "Anti Christian and anti white bias", I would offer this thought:

Maybe what you are seeing is less of a pro Christian, pro white bias that has been prevalent for a few hundred years.  Christian is no better than Muslim, Jew, Hindu, etc.   White is no better than black, yellow, brown or red.  We are all in this together.

Segregation ?  Black schools ?  Black entrances ?  What the heck are they ! [ kidding of course]

Having grown in the north going thru school in the 50's/60's, we had none of that. Actually never did before either. There were not too many black families in town and we hired a number of blacks that stayed for decades and didn't think anything of it. The best qualified for the job and if were good workers with a good attitude, they got the job, and, we didn't care if they were purple and green.  We did have some issues during the years of 'work-fare' which we were involved with, but, I just contributed that to laziness to which I just may have been too young, stupid and maybe liberal to understand.

It seemed then there were more issues with other races getting together. When my parents got married in the 40's it was a big issue for Irish and Italians. My grandfather was probably holding a shotgun during the ceremony, probably one in each hand since its been said I was in attendance. I've been told the first can come at any time while the rest take 9 months. But, I digress as usual.

During one night football game I particularly remember, Herb Woody [ black] kept after the coach to put him in because they [ other team] wouldn't be able to see him. We all got along.

It wasn't until the service that I experienced any 'racial issues'.  So, as far as I'm concerned these have done nothing but get worse over the years. And they do nothing but keep getting worse in our little NY town.

As soon as as I saw jr. and not middle, I knew you were a man of a fine upbringing!

Same here.  From 1970 through 1982, my public school classes were about half white, a quarter black, 15% hispanic, and the rest indian and asian.  The only place color was ever brought up was on the basketball courts in the parks or schoolyards.  After a long day of playing ball, I would only answer to White Boy for the next few days.   Cheesy

I find it sad how after all the pain and effort that went into ending segregation, we're re-segregating our schools again, at least around here. At my daughter's school Hispanics are segregated into their own classes, with their own teachers, kept separate from the non-Hispanic students...

Really sad to see this, especially since the Hispanics seem to be totally in favor of this practice and don't seem to be cognizant of the history of such practices.

In the Forties I went to a public high school, Central High school in Ft. Wayne. It was not segregated either by decree or practice, but it made no difference, whites, black, we got along with strict rules that were applied by the teachers with no BS PC.

I will admit that the blacks were all living in one part of town.  In fact, I was a teen and had a paper route in the completely black neighborhood.  I had no problem ever in two years. We got alone just fine.  On the other side of the coin,, we had one tavern, just outside of Ft. Wayne that had a sign that said" We cater to whites only"  i didn't think much of it until I served in the Army and was stationed at Camp Pickett VA where i saw many signs similar to that.

Today, there are arseholes IMO, that make a good living pushing racial prejudice.  I think that it's gotten worse under Obama.  As been said here we should all be satisfied that we are called Americans without prefixes. Evidently the 'melting pot' isn't working any more (if it ever did)

Any generalized statement that says or implies, "All whites ..." or, "All blacks ..." only demonstrates the speaker's (or typer's) ignorance or lack of understanding.  We are people who are each capable of being different form others either like us or unlike us.  Truthfully there are differences that occur between the majorities of large groups not based upon race but upon the cultures in which those people have spent their formulative years.  Clever people and politicians cause people to band together and against based upon easily identifiable traits such as racial appearance.  We have certainly experienced this as of late.

Ignorant people are certainly more easily herded and if the truth be known most of us probably are more than willing to accept arguments of why people who are like us are better than people who are unlike us.  I guess it is more easy than it should be to identify people who are like us by physical appearance.
