Rear wheel removal, with belly tank?

I need to pull my rear wheel for the first time since installing the belly tank.  As I have never pulled the rear wheel before, I am looking for some heads-up or warnings.  I would assume the swingarm cannot drop as far now since installing the tank.  Those of you who have done this, can you offer any pointers?  Belly tank removal, exhaust removal, axle removal above exhaust?

I generally pull the shocks and raise the swing arm up to pull the axle out above the exhaust. No problem that way with the belly tank.

If you lift your bike high enough you do not even have to remove the shocks or try  to lower the swing arm it will come out an angle. I loosen the bolts on the exhaust (at the engine and the support bolts)and that allows enough room to remove the axle. Just completed the job last weekend replacing the rear tire. Make sure to check and grease your bearings while you have your tire removed

Loosen the Shocks, lower the bike


Loosen the axle nut and the brake caliper 


Pull out the axle


Lift the bike, and its off....

 pointing with a screwdriver !     I am on my way to hardware store to buy a 27mm socket that will fit the torque wrench.  My Cobra Venom has suffered it's second flat in it's first 1,000 miles.
