Good evening all, quick question about posting pics to the VRCC.
Is it possible to post pics to the forum from an iPhone?
I only ask as this is primarily how I access the site.
Thanks in advance!! cooldude

Whether you post from an iPhone or any other way, you have to put your picture somewhere on the World Wide Web (Internet) that this site can "see" 24/7/365. Many of us here use Photobucket or Photostash. I prefer Photobucket.com because I think it's easier to use, holds lots of photos and is FREE. Just sign up.

Once you have an account you can upload your iPhone pictures to an online location like those mentioned. When posting the picture here (using an iPhone if you wish) you'll need to put the "address" of your photo in the text of your message and the photo will show up here when someone looks at your post.

The VRCC website does not "store" photos. It only gets them from your storage location each time your post is viewed.

You're welcome. And if you use Photobucket, and after you get a photo uploaded, click on the area that I highlighted in yellow for you in the image below. You'll then see the word "copied" appear. Now when you post on the forum simply paste the "IMG link" that you copied into your post and you're done.

I will add that there is a Photobucket app for the iPhone that works very good.  You can upload pictures from your phone to Photobucket, then turn right around and post the IMG link to them right here on the board.

Good Luck!!
