Looking at an F150 at a dealership about 400 miles away from me. It's really hard to make a purchase like this going only on a persons word that really wants to sell it to you.  Undecided

sorry, not close, but agree driving that far is pushing it sight unseen.  I drove 2 years ago near 200 miles for what appeared to be a nice ATV for 5 grand, turned up being all beaten up and not worth my full tank of gas and entire day driving.  Pics sent did not show the damage or condition at all.

My neighbor though did drive from WI to Philadelphia (insane amount of miles) to get a great deal on a carryover new snowmobile he wanted and yet spent this winter ONLY 3-4 trips on it the 2 weeks the trails were open this winter.   Grin

You must think it is a great deal to drive that far on a used ford pickup since tons of used ford pickups on the market close by since #1 selling pickup.    Sure hope you find someone close to drive to take a look at it before driving 2 full tanks of gas or more just to look at it.

Doughboy, You've been around this forum long enough to know that Mr. Ritsema not only believes he has found a Ford Pickup, He thinks he has found THE Ford pickup. He doesn't dabble in "runners'. This one must be being presented as something special.

Hey Dave...........road trip? It's warming up. cooldude
