I am hosting a wrenching party on April 4th.  We already have 3 or 4 folks that want to have things done...rear tire replacements (new tire already mounted on the rim), electrical issues with a radio (will do our best at this one...), supervalking an Interstate, replacing shocks, changing coolant, and tidying up some electrical issues, installing grip heaters, troubleshooting throttle issues.  There is still time for more work as there will be more than one person spinning the wrenches.  Also, I have a small stock of parts available should we need anything...if you have a big job, please bring the necessary parts with you.  If you need help picking out the right parts, let me know...

We will plan on cooking burger and hot dogs sometime during the day/evening...just depending on how the work progresses.

Regardless if you want help with a problem or just want to visit for a while...this should be a good time!!

Sounds like a good time.   Kudos to you for hosting and helping others.   Wish I could attend but, other priorities are taking up my time.   Have a good time. cooldude

Giving this a bump to bring it back up to the top.  If you are in the STL Area and your bike isn't running right or you just want to make sure things are ready for your summer trips...come on over.  Private message me for the address.

Done a SuperValk conversion on Mike's bike and replaced the shocks, replaced shocks and removed trailer hitch on Chip's bike, and replaced u-joint, pinion cup, and drive shaft on Hef's bike...we also put Monica's new chrome brake master cylinder on and she changed her oil before the party really got going. Awesome day...Great Friends...and a girlfriend who loves turning the wrenches...who could ask for more? We even got my son to grill the burgers and brats for us. Yep...awesome day!!  Thanks for everyone who came and helped work on the bikes.

Hey Joe,

We didn't work on that problem...don't remember who said they had it...but...sticking throttle is usually cable related.  Have yours been lubed lately?  Other things that can cause it is something under the sleeve, tight cables, or gummed up carbs around the throttle return springs.
