Very little LEO in WY.

I can tell you have never run too much in WY.

WY LEO's are all over the place in the Eastern part of I-90.

Don't ask how I know.    NO, it did not cost me anything for the little yellow piece of paper saying how fast I and 4 other ones were running.

We all went to traffic court on the same day at the same time and the Judge ruled what we had for home made tricycles wouldn't run that fast.   How little did he know.

So he dismissed all the citations and read the LEO a royal ass eating.

He was laying for all of us when we left the Court House.     He followed us all the way from the Court House to the state line waiting for us to make a false move.     We ran 20 MPH under the posted speed limit and never left the right hand lane of the I-S except to pull out and pass when someone was exiting the freeway.

He pulled us over as we were coming up on the state line.

He asked how come we ran under the speed limit.   Told him we didn't want him to write us a new citation.    He then asked how we knew he was back there.     I told him that LEO cars stick out like a sore thumb on the street.    He wanted to know why I said that, I told him I ride in one of those vehicles on rainy days.    He asked then if I was an LEO.   Told him yes, he asked why I never spoke up anytime during the 1st encounter.    I asked if it would have made a difference.   He said NO, told him I guess that answers our question, right?      End of conversation.

So watch yourself's, they are there, ya just have to be able to spot them.

Oh, for the record, this was on the Chevy Trike, back when it had a 454 on it.     Ticket was written for 140 MPH.

I know Brian, we were in no man's land and nothing in eye sight for 50 miles in either direction.

He was laying in wait in the median as we came into a curve.

He asked hows come we never run, told him we couldn't ourun his Motorala.

He kind of chuckled and said, yep, you are right.

I been pulled over twice in SD  police
County boy wrote me up for speeding near badlands, and he was PISSED! He was hiding real good cuz no one else was around for miles.
Second time, 3 years ago was on I90 in the midst of about 1000 other bikes, copper claimed I did not indicate a lane change and started reading me the riot act. Told me, "I KNOW you didn't indicate because you don't even have turn signals!"
I politely showed him and his more composed partner RF, LF, LR, RR signals.
They put me in the cruiser and checked my VIN about 30 times.
I asked why that was necessary, did they have a rash of 97 Black Valkyie thefts in that sea of Harley's?
They finally let me go without a ticket, which is Extremely rare, they are there to generate income from the tourists. None of the locals I spoke to could believe I walked, they know that when you pulled over, they gonna write you up for sump thing!
I have had other encounters with SD Leo's too, but they were usually something Fudgie related and I have always avoided free lodging at the Gray Bar Motel somehow...
