Once convicted, at sentencing, it will totally appropriate to bring up how the Zero traded away five high value, dangerous individuals who will try to kill more Americans for his release (which of course should NEVER have happened to begin with).

They could also charge and convict the Zero for dereliction of duty (as commander in chief) for that hair-brained idea, but that seems unlikely.
