1) when leaning the natural gas fireplace it is best to be sure the filter is in your shopvac or dust will fly everywhere.

2) when washing the decorative gravel from said fireplace the wife does not like it when you use the kitchen colander to rinse them out.

3) when trying to dry said decorative gravel in the oven, the wife does not like it when you use the non stick cookie trays even if you put tinfoil down first.

4) this one is bike related...when adjusting the height on your bars, be sure you put a towel over your tank in case you slip using the Allen key trying to tighten/loosen the screws. I almost learned the hard way but that little voice in my head was screaming at me to STOP! And put the towel down. Good thing I listened.

Oddly, I found that the dishwasher is a great place to clean old wiring harnesses. Joanne was fine with it.

Eeeehhhh! A guy on the MOOT board used the dryer to tumble his gas tank to get the rust out. I don't remember all of the details, but I think the begging for forgiveness turned into an extended and expensive process.

I don't BEG for forgiveness. I ask for it and expect it just like I extend it.  cooldude And common sense has to be put to use.........a dryer..........

The dishwasher is the best way to remove cosmoline from old mitary parts and firearms just don't forget to remove them and clean it out before the wife gets home.
