Isn't the listing of contributions a compilation of people in that industry or group that gave money ? At least that's the way I understood it. Ex. The people who work at UDofHHS gave $309,956, not the Dept. itself.

Because of contribution limits, organizations that bundle together many individual contributions are often among the top donors to presidential candidates. These contributions can come from the organization's members or employees (and their families).

If you research Google you will find that they are taking a very interesting path and they have the money to do it also. If you look at the link below you will find they have many server facilities across the country and abroad and many cost into the billions of dollars. Why?

Something I don't understand!! All this fact finding, and attention and complaining in this thread. What is being accomplished here, so what if they contribute cash. The thing that drives me crazy, is how many things that happen each day, underneath our noses and we don't see it, or do we just  ignore it. Is this thread about wasteful money, correct. Far as your information is concerned, you have already been screwed, So changing your search engine is not going make a difference. Please tell me you are not that stupid to think you are being an enigma, by changing your search engine. I am not the enemy, I just pay attention!!!

Knowledge to me is a good thing. And I think you have to pay attention to obtain it.
By not making a change to something I don't agree with to me is stupid, whether it makes any difference or not.
One change may not make a difference, but, many can. So, to my thinking, knowledge should be passed on and used as someone wishes.
Anyone that wants to keep using Google, fine. I'm not.

I agree with you!!! If I gave you the impression I am pro Google, I am sorry. In the back of my head I get the feeling that there is something snaky about Google. I still have a bad feeling about those barges they sunk, one on the east coast and one on the west coast, correct me if I am wrong. Don't know what it is, I just got a bad feeling about it.
My point was that people talk, but don't act on anything, the ones that seem to do the least, complain the most. One of my ex-bosses use to have a saying. " Don't talk about it, do it, get it done".  Far worrying about information, that horse has already left the barn.  That's all!!

OK.. All I knew was the guy that started Google was young and liberal. I just gave him credit for doing what he did, but, I didn't realize he was that liberal. I have my limits, thats all, I'm done with Google. Its just my small insignificant part.
